Case Reports in Clinical Pharmacology Journal publishes articles on treatment methods and different drugs used in prevention and diagnosis of various diseases. Pharmacology connects the gap between medical practice and laboratory science. It explains the way the living organisms react to chemical agents, underlines the importance of registered medical practitioners and prescribed drugs, create awareness about the maximize the drug effects and minimize the side effects. It includes the study of adverse drug effects, therapeutics, and toxicology including reproductive toxicology, cardiovascular risks, preoperative drug management and psychopharmacology.
Pharmacotherapeutics is a branch of Pharmacology, which is defined as “the study of the therapeutic uses and effects of drugs” this is a study of beneficial and adverse effects of drugs. A drug interaction is a situation in which a drug interacts with another substance, which could be another drug, or food, sometimes disease also. This action can enhances the drugs effect (synergistic) or my decrease the drug activity (antagonistic) or a new effect can be produced that neither produces on its own. Drug interactions occur when the effect of a particular drug is altered by another drug. Drug food interactions occur when drug interacts with the food and food products.
